High Street, Wanstead
Client: Skillcrown Homes Ltd | Location: Wanstead, London Borough of Redbridge
P. Colohan & Co. Ltd is delivering the groundworks and reinforced concrete frame for Skillcrown Homes' High Street development in Wanstead. The mixed-use scheme will turn a vacant site on Wanstead High Street into 24 new apartments, including affordable homes, with a nursery on the ground floor.
The building rises four storeys with a set-back top floor. Every apartment has its own balcony, and the scheme includes green roofs and solar panels. More than half of the site is being given back to the local community as an extension to Christ Church Green, including a new public playground. Our work includes the substructure, drainage and the RC frame.
This is another project in our ongoing work with Skillcrown Homes and adds to our record of residential developments across London.
