COVID-19 - Donation of PPE to the NHS

We're hugely grateful to NHS staff for everything they're doing to keep us safe during the coronavirus outbreak. We have therefore decided to donate a large amount of our PPE masks stock to the NHS to help them stay safer too.

COVID-19 - Site/ Office closure

Following the government's statement on Monday 23rd March 2020, we have decided it's best to close all our construction projects and our head ofice by close of business today (Wednesday 25th March 2020). Our office staff will continue to work remotely from home so please direct all communications via email or phone to the relevant persons and assume that any post will not be opened until it is possible to re-open our offices.

Our number one priority is the safety of our team and the wider community. We are extremely grateful for the work the NHS is doing and we will continue to support the guidance of the Government and Public Health England.

We look forward to returning to business as usual as soon as safely and practically possible.

Stay safe and we'll see you again soon.

MIND - Mental Health Charity - December 2019

This year we decided to stop sending paper christmas cards to our customers, but instead to donate the money we usually spend on these to a charity of choice. The office staff decided that this years charity should be 'MIND' which is a mental health charity which has been set up to work with those struggling with mental health issues.

As construction has one of the highest rates of suicide in terms of occupations, we decided that this is very relevant to the work we do and felt it would be best suited as this years charity of choice. We hope that the money we donated will help this great charity fight for better care, services and respect through their campaigning work and provide the necessary support to those in need.

Once complete, this scheme will provide 130 high quality predominantly private sale apartments, 3,500 sqm of flexible office space and meeting rooms for small businesses.

Padraig Colohan announcement - 18/04/2019

I am pleased to announce the appointment of David Colohan, Eneas McNulty, Paul Caulfield and Rachel Farr as the new additional Directors of P.Colohan & Co Ltd with effect from April 6th 2019.

Whilst for now I will continue in my role, the purpose of this move is to plan for succession and future proof the business with the same core family values and ethics that have made the business what it is today.

Between them all they have a wealth of knowledge and key strengths in different areas which will continue to drive the business forward when it is eventually time for me to take a step back.

For now, it’s business as usual...
