Our health and safety culture is dominated by desire to send everyone home safely each and every evening.
All our workforce and staff receive the requisite level of training to meet statutory obligations and in order to carry out their day to day duties safely. We also provide additional training to our workforce when new legislation and working practices are introduced.
Our senior management team are accredited with the NEBOSH or SMSTS qualifications, with our Foreman attending regular health and safety awareness training and all plant operators attending CITB-CPCS accredited plant training. All operatives on all of our sites hold up to date CSCS or CPCS cards and additional training is provided where necessary.
Our external health and safety consultants are ‘The Health and Safety People’ (THSP) who are one of the country’s most respected consultancy companies with over 1200 UK and international clients. By employing specialist consultants throughout the country THSP’s expertise covers all aspects of construction and enables them to provide a bespoke health and safety service to meet all our requirements.
The Company’s management systems are ever evolving and take into account best practice as well as statutory requirements. Our health and safety team ensures we adapt to the latest developments and are equipped with the necessary tools to deliver our message.
The company are fully accredited by CHAS (The Contractors Health & Safety Assessment Scheme) and CQMS. This means we are required to undergo an annual audit to ensure our ongoing compliance with Health & Safety best practice.
We are also a member of Considerate Constructors whom also have annual reviews and numerous site visits throughout the year to ensure we are looking after all our workforce, neighbours, general public and anyone else who may be affected by any works we carry out.
